Renewed Hope Counseling is the private counseling practice of Jeanie Staub, M.S., L.P.C. Jeanie brings over forty five years of diverse counseling experience to her clients.  In the early 1970’s she was co-director, with husband Roger, of The Way Out, a nine-month, live-in drug rehabilitation program.  Later, when the Staub’s entered the pastoral ministry, Jeanie served over twenty years as a counselor in the church setting.  In 1991 Jeanie went back to college and took a B.S. degree in Psychology at the University of Arkansas. In 1998 she completed a Masteres degree in counseling at John Brown University.  She is credentialed with the State of Arkansas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Just prior to the Staub’s move back to Arkansas in 2010, Jeanie was Senior Therapist at the Associated Centers for Therapy (ACT).  She was also employed by Laureate Psychiatric Hospital as an intake therapist in the Crisis Assessment Department.  Both of these facilities are in Tulsa, OK. Jeanie is a captivating public speaker, and has done numerous professional presentations, including Counseling in the Hispanic Community (Jeanie speaks Spanish), and Sexual Abuse Trauma.   Her wit and wisdom help her communicate effectively over a wide variety of mental health subjects.  Her column, Mental Health Matters, occasionally appears in The Antioch Letters.

Jeanie is semi-retired, but continues to counsel with referrals, previous clients, or individuals within their ministry circle.  She offices out of her home; 10087 Honey Hollow Rd.  Winslow AR.  Services are provided by appointment only; 479-422-2190.
